A two-day workshop covering both the fundamental components of the Skilled Nursing Facility Medicare Cost Report, as well as an in-depth look at Medicare reimbursement issues and updated payment methodologies. This focused training will include step-by-step guidance through all the primary cost report worksheets as well as an emphasis on critical Medicare reimbursement concepts, upcoming changes to the payment methodology (PDPM), acquisition & change of ownership (CHOW) best practices, the certification & enrollment process, and how to best prepare for the future.

This two day training is meant to give individuals an overall understanding of how Medicare Reimbursement works in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment, from everything from filing cost reports to how a nursing home is paid, both currently and in the future.

Kristi is a Senior Manager with DHG Healthcare’s Post-Acute Care Advisory Practice. She currently manages the SNF Medicare, Medicaid, Central Office, and Related Party cost report compliance for several states. She also provides support for Certificate of Need applications, Medicare enrollment and certification, and financial benchmark services for skilled nursing facilities.

Kristi has over 16 years of industry experience, with a specialized concentration in the reimbursement field. Prior to joining DHG, Kristi worked as a Senior Reimbursement Manager for two large provider entities, responsible for leading the annual budget process, as well as the preparation of Medicare, Medicaid, and Central Office cost reports.
