Don Dismuke is a tax partner in Dixon Hughes Goodman’s Atlanta office. Don has extensive experience in corporate taxation, merger and acquisition transaction planning and international taxation. His primary focus is advising on complex tax issues for publicly-traded companies, large privately-held companies and fast-growing portfolio companies held by private equity firms. He also has significant experience with companies operating internationally and has proficiency in cross-border tax provision analysis (ASC 740).
Immediately prior to joining Dixon Hughes Goodman, Don served as Tax Managing Partner with the Detroit office of a national accounting firm in corporate and international tax services. Previously, Don also worked as a director of the U.S. tax practice for the Paris and Zurich offices of a Big Four accounting firm where he advised large foreign-based multinational companies on international expansion, tax structuring and structured finance.
