Brian manages DHG's Winston-Salem, NC valuation practice and serves as a principal within the Forensic & Valuation Services practice. Brian spends most of his time working with audit and non-audit clients on financial reporting valuations and valuation-related issues. His practice specializes primarily on business valuations related to corporate finance transactions with a particular focus on purchase price allocations (including valuing personal goodwill, non-compete agreements, technology, trademarks, customer relationships and assembled work force), valuation consulting related to mergers & acquisitions and stock/option compensation valuations. In addition, his practice specializes in performing valuations for healthcare, insurance and banking, technology and manufacturing and distribution industries.
He has extensive experience preparing business valuations for estate and financial planning, serving as an expert witness in bankruptcy and litigation cases, and consulting with clients on corporate finance-related issues.
His clients have included private equity groups and companies, including a number of public companies across the manufacturing, wholesale, retail and service sectors. Brian's other positions have included senior credit analyst, commercial lender and investment portfolio manager. His prior experience has totaled more than 20 years of analyzing and consulting with closely held businesses.
