Jim is a Principal in the DHG Healthcare National Strategy Practice. Jim brings 30 years of healthcare experience to the DHG Healthcare National Strategy Consulting Practice. Jim has experience in all areas of hospital strategy, physician alignment, operations, merger and acquisition, and hospital leadership. Over the past several years at DHG, Jim has been involved in several hospital and physician transactions that include health system mergers, service line revenue mergers, joint ventures, clinical co-management arrangements, physician employment relationships, and development of clinically integrated networks.
His experience as a Master Change Agent can assist organizations, develop strategic recommendations and transform them into successful implementation. His broad clinical background combined with industry and hospital experience provides a core bench strength that allows him to be effective in all areas of healthcare consulting.
Jim was a Senior Consultant with GE Healthcare where his Six Sigma training included DMAIC, DFSS, and LEAN. At GE, Jim delivered proprietary change management training and high level improvement facilitation training to clients and internal customers across the country. He also developed new products for market performance improvement projects throughout the U.S. Additionally; he spent 10 years working in a four hospital system in both clinical and administrative roles.
