Greg is a professional practice partner with DHG. He has 30 years of accounting experience and joined the firm's Assurance Practice in 2020 following his retirement as a national office partner with a Big Four firm.
During his professional practice career, Greg's primary areas of responsibility have been in financial institution and financial instrument accounting (including debt/equity financings and derivatives/hedging) and, more recently, revenue recognition, business combinations, consolidations and share-based payments. He has been a frequent speaker for client regulatory and accounting updates, internal and external professional education courses and various university accounting programs.
Over his career, Greg has served on several technical accounting working groups for the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the FASB's Emerging Issues Task Force and the AICPA. He also was selected as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC. Greg began his professional career as a Post Graduate Technical Assistant on the Research and Technical Activities Staff at the FASB.
