Jimmy Sfiris is a Partner for Assurance Services in the Greenville, SC office of Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, with more than 16 years of professional experience serving a variety of clients in the manufacturing/distribution, real estate, consumer finance and restaurant industries. Prior to joining Dixon Hughes Goodman, Jimmy was a Senior Manager with a Big Four firm in Greenville, SC serving public and private clients throughout the Southeast. Additionally, Jimmy served as a Corporate Controller for a publicly-traded company, where he directed accounting and finance for multiple US and International business units, was responsible for consolidated financial reporting and SEC financial
reporting requirements, and managed corporate accounting and finance teams with multiple direct reports.
Jimmy has extensive professional experience serving a variety of
consumer and industrial businesses in both the public and private sectors. His knowledge and experience includes the completion of quarterly and annual SEC filings, mergers and acquisitions, registration statements and other special consulting engagements for non-audit clients. Jimmy is well versed in the Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements, including SEC and PCAOB reporting experience with involvement in multiple PCAOB inspections/reviews. He has extensive experience in the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls as required by
Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Jimmy also has knowledge of U.S. GAAP within different industries and markets, including experience with IFRS reporting requirements.
