Join DHG as we dig into the enhanced Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and the Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings Deduction (Section 179D), made permanent when the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) was signed into law in December 2020. We will take a deeper dive into the ERC, focusing on increased credit amounts for qualified employees and changes to employer eligibility criteria. We will also address activities that qualify for 179D deduction, another tax incentive that encourages energy efficient design in commercial construction.
