Employee benefit plans such as 401(k) plans are required by ERISA to have an annual audit if there are 100 or more eligible participants at the beginning of the plan year. If your plan has an audit requirement for the first time or is close to the requirement, are you ready? Are you curious about the audit process, what the auditor does and common errors identified?

Join us while we discuss how to best prepare for and alleviate stress that can possibly accommodate an audit. Delve into a typical audit timeline and learn about what you and your audit team will need for a smooth process.

During the webinar we will cover common issues with:

  • The typical audit timeline
  • What the auditor needs to perform the audit
  • What the auditor does with the information
  • The specific areas of attention by the IRS and DOL
