The virus named SARS-CoV-2, which causes the disease named coronavirus disease 2019 (commonly referred to as COVID-19, or simply coronavirus), was stated by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a pandemic on March 11, 2020, and declared by the President as a national emergency in the U.S. on March 13, 2020. The disease is an ongoing pandemic affecting almost 100 locations internationally.1

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have created an internal pandemic response team reporting to the highest levels within DHG, and we are closely monitoring international, national and local conditions.
