Charlotte, N.C., October 6, 2020 – Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to welcome Greg Faucette as a Professional Practice Partner. Greg has nearly 30 years of experience serving clients at public companies in a number of industries, including financial services and insurance. Greg joins DHG after more than 25 years at a global accounting and consulting firm, where he was a partner.

Greg will serve as Professional Practice Partner primarily assisting the banking, insurance and technology industries and continue to focus on delivering exceptional client experience.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always recognized DHG’s longstanding reputation for client service and leadership in the industry, and I’m delighted to be joining the firm in this next chapter,” Greg explained. Over his professional practice career, Greg’s primary areas of responsibility have been in financial institution and financial instrument accounting and, more recently, revenue recognition.
Greg was selected as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C., a position he served from 2002 through 2004. Greg has also been a representative on technical accounting working groups for the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the FASB’s Emerging Issues Task Force and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is frequently sought out as an industry speaker for client regulatory updates, professional education courses and university accounting programs.
In the community, Greg is a member of the Visitor’s Circle for Camps Sea Gull and Seafarer, branches of the YMCA of the Triangle in Raleigh, NC, and is on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit A Fresh Start CLT. Greg is also an active volunteer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
