Earlier this month, in celebration of Black History Month, Women’s History Month and inclusion and diversity across our footprint, we released DHG’s first inclusion and diversity focused publication. The magazine is a compilation of stories from our Life at DHG blog celebrating diversity from many angles.

My introduction included in our publication is a statement about the strategic importance of our inclusion and diversity strategy, and reads as follows:
For DHG, inclusion and diversity means more than a social responsibility. It is a critical element to achieving our mission of building valuable careers with our people and helping our clients achieve their goals. For us, strategically focused efforts around inclusion and diversity promote innovation, enhanced opportunities for our people, better access to top talent and ultimately improved performance for the firm.
Our goal is to foster an environment that enables all of our people to plan for their future in a way that successfully integrates their career with their lifestyle regardless of gender, race, skill set, age or other factors. This empowers each and every person at DHG to bring their best self and their authentic self to work every day. Ultimately, it means that our people can focus their work-day energy on what matters the most – their career and our clients.
We pursue this strategy not only for our people but also for our clients, who expect us to have teams of professionals who offer broader, more creative solutions. Diverse thoughts and ideas drive innovation, impact our client experience and create efficient and effective outcomes for our clients.
I am proud of the inclusive and diverse team that we have here at DHG. While there are many stories across the firm that exemplify our focus, we have compiled a few in this magazine to provide you with a glimpse into our culture and to showcase the priority we place on our people.
