Adam Thomas Announced as New Partner in the DHG Financial Services Practice

Raleigh, N.C., Nov. 2, 2015 – DHG is pleased to announce that Adam Thomas was elected to partner, effective Nov. 1, 2015. Thomas is a member of the DHG Financial Services practice in Raleigh, N.C., and has more than 13 years of experience serving financial services companies.

Prior to joining DHG, Thomas worked for a Big Four firm for 10 years. He served external audit financial services and technology clients in Alabama and Georgia, including community and regional financial institutions. In addition to external audit services, Thomas has experience with internal controls over financial reporting, including FDICIA and Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, various allowance for loan and lease losses models, business combinations and acquisitions, and SSAE 16 reporting.

Thomas earned Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science degrees from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. A certified public accountant in N.C., Ala., and Ga., Thomas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of the 2014 - 2015 Leadership Raleigh program through the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as the treasurer and a member of the board of directors for the Raleigh/Wake Partnership to End and Prevent Homelessness. Thomas and his wife, Kathryn, are the proud parents of two daughters, Kathleen, 13, and Alice, 9.
