The DHG Dealerships practice is proud to announce that Adam Lawyer and Jason Wilkinson have been elected to partner, effective November 1, 2015
Based in the firm’s Fort Worth, Texas office, Adam Lawyer has been with DHG since 2005. He received both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. In addition to being a CPA, he is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). Lawyer has significant experience providing audit, tax, consulting and valuation services to dealership groups of all sizes. Lawyer’s work in the valuation space is notable, as he has performed numerous engagements for privately-held dealership groups with revenues ranging from $500,000 to more than $5 billion. Additionally, Lawyer has contributed quality insight by way of articles, webinars and various speaking engagements to key industry organizations, including the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), the National Association of Dealer Counsel (NADC) and Business Valuation Resources (BVR). Lawyer will be presenting on the 2016 NADA Convention & Expo stage with fellow DHG partner, Jonathan Wilke, on fraud detection and prevention in dealerships.
Jason Wilkinson has more than 13 years of public accounting experience with DHG. Based in DHG’s Raleigh office, he focuses on helping franchised automotive and heavy equipment dealers with income tax planning, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions and dealership consulting. His well-rounded consulting work ranges from operational and financial statement analysis to succession planning. Additionally, he is heavily involved in several state industry organizations, such as the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association (NCADA) and the Virginia Automobile Dealers Association (VADA). Wilkinson has ample experience speaking and writing for such organizations on various topics, including operational and fraud consulting, capital projects, net investment income and more. Wilkinson graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and he received a Master’s degree in Accounting from East Carolina University.
