Dixon Hughes Goodman, one of Metro Charlotte’s largest professional services firms, announced today that it has appointed Charlotte-based Trey Ackerman as the Charlotte Market Managing partner, which includes the New York City Office.
“Trey brings more than 15 years of accounting and business consulting knowledge to our clients in the region, including a proven track record serving Charlotte’s largest public and private companies,” said Matt Snow, Dixon Hughes Goodman’s outgoing regional managing partner and now Chief Executive Officer of the firm. “Trey’s wide range of client and leadership experiences will serve him well in taking on this important role for our market and the firm.”
A South Carolina native, Trey is proud to call the Charlotte community his home, Trey joined Dixon Hughes Goodman’s Charlotte office in 2009 and previously served as the Charlotte market’s tax advisory partner where he led more than 100 team members. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in North and South Carolina and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Trey received his masters and bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, and currently serves on the Accounting Advisory Board of its Darla Moore School of Business, as well as a Board member for the Carolinas United Way Chapter.
