Giving back to our communities is at the core of who we are as a firm and as individuals. For the past three years, we have engaged in a firm-wide food drive, Count the Cans, raising collectively more than 2.5 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD for food banks across our footprint. Each year, I am blown away by our collections and truly humbled by the outpouring of support from our partners and professionals.
As we kick-off the 2015 Count the Cans food drive, I wanted to take a moment to share with you how proud I am of the way DHG pulls together to support hunger relief. The enthusiasm is contagious and the passion is inspiring.
I typically record a video message to kick off this drive, but upon the suggestion of several of our people, this year, we will donate the money that we normally spend on a professional video to a local food bank.
I am excited to see the success that this year’s food drive brings and look forward to sharing the 2015 results via part two of this blog post.
