Scott currently heads the Government Contracting practice for the firm, in addition to being the lead for Assurance Services and Private Equity Services for the Metro DC market.

Scott has practiced as a certified public accountant since 1991. He has obtained a Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University. As a result, he focuses on the following areas of practice:

• Financial statement audits and reviews of government contractors, including accounting for various types of contracts with numerous agencies of the federal government.
• Accounting system assessments, including job costing systems and compliance regulations.
• Government contract compliance and consulting (includes analysis of indirect rate structures and optimization, cost allowability and allocability, Federal Acquisition Regulations and Cost Accounting Standards compliance, internal control efficiency and effectiveness and profit enhancement).
